To become a member of Spokane Women's Hockey(SWH), to play in the Women's Recreational Hockey League (WRHL), and/or to join one of our traveling teams, you need to do the following 3 EASY STEPS:
- Complete the SWH/WRHL Registration Form
- This is a writeable PDF
- Please print and mail all 3 pages, thanks!
- Send the completed form and $20 to our Registrar
- Join USA Hockey
- Register directly with USA Hockey
- Include your USA Hockey number on your SWH Hockey Registration form
- USA Hockey is the national insurance for hockey players and is required for all tournament and league play
- You must pay your USA Hockey Dues before you will be allowed to step on the ice -- NO EXCEPTIONS
- Take part in a rate skate
SUBS
- All subs are required to complete steps 1 & 2 from above
- Mascot Subs- those SWH members who only sub on Mascot teams (lowers/uppers) ARE required to rate
- Color Team Subs- those SWH members who only sub on Color teams (teams with all level players) ARE NOT required to rate
Rate Skate
- All of our skaters are rated as to their skating and general hockey abilities
- Many of our skaters are newcomers and have very minimal experience skating, while others have more
- Because we have around 70 Spokane Women's Hockey members, we need the ratings in order to better place players on teams
